CAIRO : Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, was honoured with the “Arab Government Excellence Award”. He merited the “Best Arab Minister” title in the Award’s 4th edition in 2025.
This was unveiled during a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo today.
In a statement on the occasion, Al Habsi said, “This honour reflects the status attained by the government work system in the Sultanate of Oman under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.”

Al Habsi pointed out that this achievement is not only a tribute to an individual, but rather the culmination of integrated institutional action that portrayed a spirit of teamwork focusing on efficiency, transparency and quality of services.
He added that the accomplishment poses double responsibility to maintain this status and calls for more efforts to foster the culture of excellence and enhance cooperation with Arab countries in a manner that contributes to building a more innovative future of government action.
