MUSCAT – This landmark project designed to infuse the capital with high-quality urban elements that elevate the quality of life, enrich the tourism experience, and align with the aspirations of the National Urban Development Strategy 2040.
The project won first place in the inaugural Bilarab Bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design, a competition inviting designers and architects to propose a distinctive landmark for the area, reflecting the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
The project will feature an iconic U-shaped bridge spanning the sea, five metres wide, a multi-purpose plaza with green spaces and pedestrian walkways, and a modern lighting system designed to harmonise with the rhythm of the sea, creating a captivating atmosphere.
The development aims to highlight the historical and tourism value of Muttrah, provide panoramic views of the corniche and Muttrah Fort, introduce a vibrant and modern urban character, and enrich visitor experiences while expanding leisure opportunities.
