MUSCAT : The new version was inaugurated on Thursday, 20 November 2025, by His Excellency Sheikh Ghuson bin Hilal Al Alawi, Chairman of the State Audit Institution, in conjunction with the National Day celebrations.
During the inauguration ceremony, His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the launch of the upgraded application, noting that the initiative supports SAI’s institutional development efforts and aligns with its strategic approach to digital transformation. He praised the work of the project teams and encouraged the public to take advantage of the app’s services, emphasizing that such tools promote transparency and reinforce community partnership.
The application features multiple windows, including the Complaints and Reports window which is divided into two sections – the first enables users to submit personal complaints, track their status, evaluate the service, and view evaluation outcomes.
The second section allows users to file reports concerning matters of public interest.
The application also features the ‘Awareness’ window, which allows users to submit requests for lectures or workshops directed at entities subject to audit, as well as universities, schools, and civil society organizations. It also includes an informative window about SIA, providing comprehensive background about the Institution and daily updates on its news, events, and activities.
The application supports both Arabic and English languages, with the option to customize its interface by choosing between night or day modes. It also provides additional descriptive information about SIA and displays the geographic locations of its various branches.
