MUSCAT : The Secretariat General for National Celebrations, in coordination with the Royal Oman Police, has announced temporary road closures in Muscat as part of preparations for the National Day celebrations and the accompanying Naval Fleet Parade.
According to the official statement, the beach road linking the Ministry of Foreign Affairs roundabout to Al Qurm Beach roundabout will be closed to traffic starting at dawn on Tuesday, November 18, and will remain closed until 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 23. The closure is required for cleaning, organisational arrangements and to ensure the smooth execution of the event’s activities.
The Secretariat urged all road users to follow the announced detours and comply with traffic instructions issued by authorities. It also called on the public for cooperation to ensure the success of these national festivities.
