MUSCAT – During October, inspection teams from the municipality’s Health Control Department conducted a series of field visits in both morning and evening shifts, covering bakeries, restaurants, the central market, and other food establishments throughout Salalah city.
The teams carried out a total of 835 visits, which resulted in 123 violations, 52 warnings, and 34 closures of establishments found to be non-compliant with health regulations.
Legal action was taken against the violating outlets, and the municipality reiterated the importance of adhering to health and safety standards to maintain food quality and protect the well-being of the community.
