MUSCAT – His Highness Sayyid Numair bin Salim Al Said will preside over the second edition of the Themar Islamic Banking Conference & Awards, organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS), on September 28 at the Intercity Hotel Muscat.
Held under his patronage, the event will convene leading voices from Oman’s Islamic finance sector to foster dialogue, highlight best practices, and drive sustainable growth. The conference will also feature the industry awards ceremony, which recognises excellence across seven categories and invites nominations from banks, financial institutions, and fintech companies.
Ensuring fairness and integrity, the judging panel will be led by His Highness Sayyid Dr. Adham Al Said, Assistant Professor at Sultan Qaboos University’s College of Economics and Political Science. The committee includes Dr. Siham Al Harthy, Board Member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr. Ashraf Al Nabhani, former Chairman of the Muscat Securities Market; and Dr. Ahmed Kashoub, Chairman of the Index Center for Economic and Financial Consultations.
