MUSCAT – A total of 6,367 students were notified via text messages, informing them of their nomination to 123 academic programs that require additional screening.
The HEAC, under the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, emphasised that students can also log into their registration page to view details related to their nominations, including programme names, dates, locations of interviews, tests, and other requirements, by scanning the provided QR code.
The Centre clarified that nomination does not guarantee final admission. Acceptance into a programme depends on the student’s performance in the required test, interview, or medical examination, as determined by the respective educational institution. Admission is also subject to the number of available seats and each student’s competitive score. Students who fail to attend scheduled interviews or tests – for any reason, including travel – will be considered to have withdrawn from competing for those programmes.
