MUSCAT – Proving an overview of the phase, HEAC stated: “Some academic programmes offered by higher education institutions require specific skills, such as physical and medical fitness, drawing abilities, or other specialised competencies. Therefore, a dedicated stage for admission tests and personal interviews is conducted for such programs.”
Students may be nominated to undergo these additional assessments based on:
• The order in which they ranked the academic programmes in the application system.
• Their competitive average compared to other applicants for the same programme.
• The total number of candidates required for nomination in each programme.
