MUSCAT – The awards, a key highlight of the upcoming ‘HerStory Oman Summit,’ aim to honour women who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and community impact, spanning diverse fields – from business and technology to arts, media, and social development. It will also spotlight companies and institutions actively championing women’s initiatives.
Nominations for the awards will be open to the public, including TAS readers, patrons, and well-wishers. The categories for the awards will be determined based on the nominations received, ensuring flexibility to honour women in diverse fields.
To streamline the nomination process and ensure transparency, TAS will soon unveil a dedicated online portal.

Alongside the nomination process, a distinguished adjudication committee for the inaugural ‘HerStory Oman Summit 2025’ awards will also be announced. This five-member jury, comprising prominent figures from both the private and government sectors, will play a crucial role in evaluating submissions and selecting the deserving winners.
Commenting on the significance of the inaugural HerStory awards, Nishad Padiyarath, CEO of TAS, said, “The awards are a tribute to the incredible women reshaping Oman’s future and the organisations that stand behind them. These awards are driven by the community, and we want to ensure every deserving story gets the recognition it merits. The awards will be presented during the HerStory Oman Summit 2025, a high-profile event bringing together women changemakers from across Oman and the region. The ceremony will mark a highlight of the summit, reinforcing its mission to foster collaboration, inspire leadership, and drive real-world progress in women’s empowerment.
Under the banner of ‘Leading the Charge for Women’s Empowerment,’ the summit will feature compelling panel discussions, including ‘Collective Leadership Transforming Oman’s Future,’ which will explore women’s pivotal role in advancing Oman Vision 2040 through collaborative leadership.
