MUSCAT – Registration for the competition is available via the competition’s official website: https://sqhccs.gov.om/iqraa/register.
Held annually as a cultural initiative from the Centre, the competition aims to foster reading habit among young people, enhance their cultural awareness, and encourage them to frequent libraries. This contributes to building their personalities, expanding their intellectual and cognitive horizons, and promoting national values and cultural identity.
The competition is divided into three levels based on age groups and covers diverse topics related to national, scientific, and social aspects. Participants are required to read a number of books, write summaries about them, and then discuss their content during the evaluation stages.
