MUSCAT – “Improper disposal of agricultural waste can seriously harm the environment,” stated the Municipality, urging people to discover safe and sustainable ways to manage it.
To dispose of agricultural waste safely and responsibly, Muscat Municipality recommends the following guidelines:
• Avoid open burning of waste
• Use designated waste containers
• Transport waste to authorised disposal facilities
• Recycle and compost whenever possible
• Report illegal dumping or violations immediately
• Handle pesticide containers with extreme care
“Improper disposal isn’t just harmful, it endangers the health of your environment and community,” it stressed.
