MUSCAT – As part of continued collaboration with port operators to facilitate the smooth release of shipments, the Directorate General of Customs confirmed that, effective Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the integration between the Bayan customs system and the system of Sohar Port operator C. Steinweg Oman LLC will be activated for bulk, non-containerized incoming cargo.

Customs officials are urging businesses to ensure:
- Accuracy of all shipment data entered into the Bayan system for incoming shipments.
- Proper selection of the port operator in the Bayan system for shipments arriving through Sohar Port.
