MUSCAT – This initiative, starting in three commercial centres in the Muscat Governorate, aims to enhance field inspection efficiency, streamline communication between consumers and the CPA, and align with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

Designed to enhance field inspection efficiency and facilitate direct consumer interaction with the Authority, the project aims to integrate modern technologies into regulatory oversight. By scanning QR codes displayed at participating outlets, consumers will gain immediate access to key information and communication channels with the CPA.

The QR code system is expected to save time and effort for inspection teams, improve regulatory coverage, and strengthen compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations.
This project is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to develop its regulatory tools and leverage modern technologies in a way that strengthens consumer rights protection and ensures institutional compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
