MUSCAT : This directive, effective one week from the circular’s issuance, aims to enhance compliance with the Tourism Law (Royal Decree No. 69/2023) and its Executive Regulations (Ministerial Resolution No. 39/2016).
The circular, referencing a previous directive from January 8, 2025, emphasiszes that establishments of all categories must adhere to the following:
• Display the tourism license in a prominent place within the establishment.
• Publish the license data on the establishment’s official websites.
• Include the license on the establishment’s social media accounts.
The Ministry has urged all concerned establishments to comply promptly, warning that it will commence issuing violations and taking legal action against non-compliant entities one week from the date of this circular.
