MUSCAT – These changes are designed to organise and streamline traffic flow during the anticipated influx of visitors for the Dhofar Khareef season.
The announced diversions include the following:
• The eastern service road on Itin Street has been converted to a one-way route, operating south to north, effective from Monday morning.
• Additional lanes have been added to ease congestion for motorists traveling from Al Dahariz Roundabout along Sultan Qaboos Street toward the city centre. An extra lane has also been created to provide direct access to Al Dahariz Beach.
• For vehicles approaching from Qasr Al Maamoura Roundabout, an alternative route has been introduced via Rabat Street to improve overall traffic flow.
