MUSCAT – In a statement issued, the ROP highlighted the importance of being prepared for any potential emergency, especially during the Khareef season, which draws thousands of visitors to Dhofar for its cool climate and lush landscapes.
“On your way to Dhofar, make sure you know the nearest ROP checkpoints and their contact numbers along the route, so you are prepared for any emergency. Your safety is our responsibility,” the statement read.
To support this initiative, the ROP has published a list of contact numbers for police stations and checkpoint posts situated along key roads leading into the governorate.
