Madayn invites bids for duty free market at Oman’s Al Mazunah Free Zone

The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) has announced a tender for the development of a ‘Duty Free Market’ at Al Mazunah Free Zone, a strategic hub near the Oman–Yemen border in the Dhofar Governorate.

MUSCAT : Spanning over 15 million square meters, Al Mazunah Free Zone is operated and managed by Madayn. The zone is located approximately 250 kilometres from Salalah and hosts a wide range of industrial, logistics, commercial, and service-oriented projects.


Key projects in the zone include Al Mazunah Dry Port, Facility Building, warehouses, and various other projects.


Madayn invites interested and qualified parties to participate in this opportunity and contribute to the continued development of Al Mazunah Free Zone as a key trade and logistics hub for the Sultanate of Oman.


The deadline for purchasing tender documents is July 24, 2025, with a document fee of RO 500. A mandatory field visit for interested bidders is scheduled for July 28, 2025, to assess the site and understand the project’s scope. Proposals must be submitted by August 11, 2025.
