Muscat: With fog-laced mornings, fresh coastal air, and a break from the usual summer heat, Jalan Bani Bu Ali became a top getaway for locals and international visitors alike. Al Ashkhara Beach, Asilah Tourist Park, and Al Haddah’s seafront were buzzing with recreational activities, drawing adventure seekers and marine tourism lovers to the area.

Hotel and resort officials reported occupancy rates exceeding 90%, attributing the high numbers to Oman’s mild coastal climate and growing demand for peaceful, scenic retreats. They reaffirmed their commitment to offering services that deliver relaxation and memorable experiences for all guests.

South Al Sharqiyah Governorate currently boasts 152 tourist facilities spread across its wilayats, with marine tourism leading the way—especially during the popular summer season that kicks off in early July and runs through the end of August.

This tourism upswing comes as the region prepares to host the third edition of the Ashkharah Atmosphere Forum, a major summer event running from July 16 to August 9, 2025.
