MUSCAT : The index declined by 0.33 percent from its previous close of 4,535.16 points. However, the day saw a notable upswing in trading value, reaching RO 15,032,224 — up from RO 11,719,893 recorded in the last session.
The report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange also highlighted a positive movement in overall market value, which rose by 0.412 percent to reach approximately RO 28.24 billion.
Foreign investor activity showed strong net positive momentum. Non-Omani purchases totaled RO 1.214 million, making up 8.08 percent of the total, while non-Omani sales amounted to RO 393,000, or 2.61 percent. As a result, net non-Omani investment increased by RO 821,000, representing 5.46 percent of the total trades.
