MUSCAT : The Sultanate’s total oil exports dropped by 3.4% to 100.03 million barrels by the end of April this year, compared to 103.55 million barrels during the same period in 2024.
The dip in exports was accompanied by a 5.2% fall in the average price of crude oil, which slipped to $75.9 per barrel, down from $80 in the corresponding period last year.
Oil production levels also saw a downward shift. The average daily production dropped to 986,700 barrels per day, compared to 997,100 barrels recorded during the same time in 2024. Overall, total oil production was down by 1.9%, reaching 118.4 million barrels by April-end, down from 120.65 million barrels last year.
