MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Friday received a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
During the call, they discussed the regional developments amid escalating tensions and exchanged views on ways to de-escalate the situation and reduce tensions, in a manner that maintains security and stability for the benefit of all peoples in the region.
The Prime Minister of Italy expresses her deep appreciation for the wise approach and constructive role undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman, under the leadership of His Majesty, in supporting de-escalation efforts and promoting dialogue and diplomacy in the region.
