WASHINGTON : Bitcoin rose by 0.7% to reach $109,376.74, according to data from CoinMarketCap, securing a dominant 62.8% share of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization. The rally was mirrored by Ethereum, which climbed 3.9% to $2,683.2, while Ripple saw a slight dip, falling 0.75% to $2,288.
The market movement comes amid growing anticipation around the outcome of trade negotiations between the United States and China — two of the world’s largest economies. Analysts believe any positive signals from the talks could boost investor confidence and inject further momentum into the digital asset space.
Corporate backing of cryptocurrencies has also continued to strengthen, adding to the bullish sentiment.
