Muscat – Based on recommendations from competent veterinary authorities and grounded in public interest and updated health assessments, the Ministry has decided to lift the ban on the import of live birds and their products, derivatives and offal from Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom, Zealand Island in Denmark, Veneto Region in Italy, Lubuskie Province in the Republic of Poland, and Flanders Province in Belgium, and based on what the public interest requires.
The decision shall be implemented by competent authorities, each within its area of expertise.
