Muscat – Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei confirmed the details on Tuesday via the ministry’s Telegram channel, stating that the upcoming talks mark a continuation of five earlier rounds held in Muscat and Rome. The discussions are being facilitated by the Sultanate of Oman, which has played a consistent mediating role in efforts to ease tensions and promote diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
“The next round of Iran–US indirect negotiations is scheduled for Sunday in Muscat,” Baghaei said, as reported by Iran’s official news agency, IRNA.
