Muscat – For the pre-Eid period, from Tuesday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 4, individual access to slaughterhouses will be available from 7 am to 2 pm. Companies will be allowed access from 4 pm to 10 pm.
From Thursday, June 5 through to the second day of Eid, slaughterhouses will reserve sacrifices of sheep and goats from 7am to 2pm and cows and camels from 4 pm to 6.30 pm.
The Municipality also stressed that all companies, butcher shops and charitable organisations who wish to use the abattoirs must coordinate in advance with the operating company.
Finally, starting from the third day of Eid, the Seeb slaughterhouse will operate from 6 am to 4 pm, and Al Amerat slaughterhouse will be open from 6 am to 1 pm.
