Muscat – The policy will be enforced daily from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm throughout the months of June, July, and August.
The decision is grounded in Article 16, Clause 3 of the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation, which mandates protective action in hazardous working conditions.
The Ministry emphasised that employers must strictly comply with the ban, warning that violations will result in financial penalties ranging from RO 500 to RO 1,000.
