Muscat: Oman Air has confirmed that flight WY815, operating from Muscat to Bangkok, encountered a technical issue soon after departure on Saturday. In line with established safety and operational procedures, the aircraft was diverted back to Muscat International Airport.
The airline reported that the aircraft landed safely and without incident. Passengers were disembarked promptly and escorted back to the terminal, where they were provided with necessary assistance.
“All guests were accommodated on a replacement flight shortly after,” Oman Air said in an official statement. “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. As always, the safety of our guests and crew remains our top priority.”
