Muscat: Expanding its card portfolio to offer convenient payment solutions, Alizz Islamic Bank recently launched its new Visa prepaid card, youth prepaid card and for the first time in Oman a Shari’a compliant multi-currency prepaid card. The bank’s new prepaid cards offers customers everyday convenience and are easily applied for through the bank’s new ‘Alizz X’ mobile banking application and the cards can be topped up instantly through the app.
The multi-currency card eliminates the hassle and fees typically associated with currency exchange when traveling or shopping internationally and the card allows customers to make transactions in Omani Rials, US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Emirati Dirhams & Saudi Rials. The multi-currency prepaid card is the ideal international travelling companion that allows users to carry one card wherever they travel and removes the need to look for an exchange house and carry physical currencies. The card switches according to the destination of use & can draw funds from another currency. The multi-currency card can be used abroad across ATMs, point of sale terminals as well as for online purchases.
Touching upon the launch Mr. Khalid Al Hoqani, Head of Transformation at Alizz Islamic Bank said “At Alizz Islamic Bank we are committed to innovation and providing smart solutions that meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.
