MUSCAT : An official reception ceremony was held in honor of the visiting Iranian President upon his arrival at the iconic Al Alam Palace. The outer courtyard came alive with ceremonial splendor as a group of the Royal Cavalry lined up along the welcome corridor to greet the distinguished guest.
The motorcade carrying HE Dr. Pezeshkian was met with high honors, and upon arrival, His Majesty the Sultan personally received the Iranian President, extending a warm welcome and wishing him and his accompanying delegation a pleasant stay in the Sultanate.
In accordance with state traditions, His Majesty then escorted President Pezeshkian to the podium of honor, where the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran was played, followed by a 21-gun artillery salute.

The two leaders exchanged greetings with members of each other’s official delegations. Present at the ceremony were a number of Their Highnesses, ministers, and senior military officials from both nations.
