Muscat: Spot gold rose to $3339.99 per ounce, continuing its upward trend as the weakening dollar enhanced the metal’s appeal as a safe-haven asset. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures saw a slight dip, slipping 0.8% to $3339.80.
The precious metals market showed mixed movement overall. Silver in spot transactions edged up by 0.1% to $33.38 per ounce, while platinum held steady at $1084.28. Palladium, however, saw a decline of 0.3%, dropping to $984.25 per ounce.
