Muscat: The Sultanate exported approximately 74.97 million barrels of oil by the end of Q1 2025, compared to 78.84 million barrels in the same period in 2024. This marks a 4.9% decline in exports, largely in line with a 2.3% drop in oil production, which fell from 90.88 million barrels in March 2024 to 88.81 million barrels this year.
Despite the drop in volume, Oman recorded an average oil price of $75.3 per barrel during this period. Oil exports accounted for 84.4% of the total production, reinforcing their vital role in the country’s economic output.
