MUSCAT: The potential impact from the tropical depression has ended, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has confirmed.
In a statement issued on Saturday, PACA said: “The latest analysis of the National Center for Early Warning of Multi hazards indicates that the potential impacts from the depression has ended.”
However, there are chances of sporadic rain in parts of the country, PACA said.

“The forecast maps currently show the concentration of the depression on the northern Arabian Sea off the Pakistan coast, with the continued chances of sporadic rain, and the medium-wave sea continues on the coasts of the Sea of Oman and reaches a maximum height of two meters, and raging waves on the coast of the Arabian Sea, reaching a maximum height of 4 meters,” the statement said.
“The authority appreciated the efforts made by the National Committee for Emergency Situations Management and other sectors and the citizens’ response to the reports issued by it,” the statement added.
