MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) has intensified its inspections in shops and supermarkets to ensure there is no undue hike in prices ahead of Eid Al Adha.
Oman will celebrate a low-key Eid on July 31, due to the nationwide lockdown in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
“We have intensified inspections across the governorates to ensure there are no price hikes during Eid Al Adha,” a senior PACP official said.
