MUSCAT: In a huge relief, Oman recorded less than 1,000 coronavirus cases after 29 days.
On Tuesday, the Sultanate registered 846 new cases, taking the total cases in the country to 77,904.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Health, the last time the country recorded less than 1,000 cases was on June 29 when only 910 cases were recorded.

With lockdown being implemented, authorities are expecting to reduce the coronavirus cases to at least 60 percent.
