MUSCAT: With airports closed the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) is coordinating with relevant authorities to operate special flights from Oman for students, citizens and residents.

In a statement issued, PACA said special flights are being arranged for students who are studying abroad and currently in Oman due to the pandemic. Special flights are also being arranged for residents who wish to travel home from Oman.

“The Authority continues to coordinate with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate and abroad to operate flights for students and other citizens and residents from Oman to travel to various countries, and it will be announced through the airlines that will operate these flights as soon as the necessary permits are issued to them,” the statement from PACA said.
