Fatma’s preparation is one that can be inspiring to hundreds of students who wants to excel in exams. “I have always followed a steady study pattern and studied regularly on a day to day basis. I didn’t study for long hours but instead devote quality study time. I took breaks while studying to avoid exhaustion and excess tension. My overall strategy was to practice and focus on areas which needed improvement,” she explained.
Fatma thanked her family for the support during her exam preparations especially her mother who is her guiding force. “My entire family, especially my mother, played an important role during preparation for the IB exams.
“She was my guiding force and constantly encouraged me to do my best. Both my parents played a huge role in my success with their constant support and motivation, leading to my persistence, determination and perseverance in spite of difficult times during the preparation stage. Their emotional and physical support and care never let me down,” Fatma said.
Fatma has an advice to those students who are attempting the exams in the future. “I would like to tell all students facing exams to set their goals, learn to manage their time and work hard from the very beginning. Balancing time and working strategically and effectively is the key to success. In addition, focus and having a proper study schedule is vital whilst preparing for exams. Lastly, optimism and setting a positive mindset will definitely lead to motivation, determination and the achievement of the students’ goal,” Fatma added.
