MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested two expats charged for illegally transporting alcoholic beverages in Duqm.
ROP reportedly found more than 800 bottles of alcohol in the possession of the suspects. According to ROP, the suspects were caught while they were transporting the alcohol in a truck.
“Al Wusta Governorate Police Command arrested two expatriates of Asian nationality in Duqm, while transporting more than 800 bottles of alcohol in a truck,” ROP said in a statement on Monday.
