MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police have arrested three people for fraud and sorcery and for claiming to have ability to treat diseases and solving personal problems.
According to ROP, a man and two women of Arab and European nationality have been arrested for using black magic. Police also arrested an Omani citizen who is also the owner of the house. “He also brought them in tourist visa,” ROP said in a statement on Sunday.
“Two women of Arab and European nationalities were arrested for fraud and sorcery, claiming their ability to release the jinn and treat diseases,” ROP explained.

“We would like to warn the public from dealing with fraudsters and sorcerers, as well as calling for immediate reporting in the event of such crimes or suspicions by going to the nearest police station,” the statement added.
