Muscat: According to the CAA’s report, the wind activity will begin on the evening of Saturday, January 18, and persist for several days. This will result in rising sea waves on the coasts of western Musandam Governorate and the Sea of Oman, with wave heights reaching up to 2.5 meters.
The weather conditions are also likely to impact desert and exposed areas, where dust and dirt may rise, significantly reducing horizontal visibility. Residents and travellers are advised to exercise caution, particularly in areas prone to such conditions.
