MUSCAT : Oman’s Environment Authority has made impressive strides in strengthening its digital security, securing a spot in the top 10 of the National Cybersecurity Index (Modernity). Moving from a rating of 84% to an outstanding 96.37%, the Authority now stands at an impressive sixth position among 50 competing entities.
This achievement is a testament to the continuous and dedicated efforts of the Authority’s staff, who have worked to elevate Oman’s cybersecurity capabilities. “We are proud of this accomplishment, and we are moving towards further strengthening our position as one of the most secure institutions,” stated a representative from the Environment Authority.
The Authority’s success can be attributed to several key factors, including a robust investment in cutting-edge technologies, the extensive training of Omani cadres, and the continuous development of work mechanisms to ensure efficiency and safety in handling sensitive data.
