MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA) hailed a petrol station employee for his quick response after a fire broke out in a car while fuelling.
A video showed the vehicle catching fire and the attendant quickly grabbing extinguishers before it could spread. However, PACDA did not reveal the details of the fuel station.
“PACDA commends the actions of the station operator who put out the fire, and the Authority calls motorists the importance of following safety procedures while refuelling,” PACDA said in a statement.
