KUWAIT CITY: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth attended the opening ceremony of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup in Kuwait as the ‘Guest of Honour’ upon the invitation of Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.
During his meeting, Sayyid Theyazin conveyed the greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Emir. Sayyid Theyazin also met Fifa President Gianni Infantino.
Kuwait is hosting the biennial Arabian Gulf Cup with participation from eight countries, including GCC nations, Iraq, and Yemen.
