CBSE Class 12 results: Indian School Muscat records all time highest score of 99.2%

MUSCAT : Indian School Muscat endorsed yet another delightful day of academic achievement by displaying exceptional performance in the CBSE Class XII – All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) held in March 2020. The students of Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams have successfully cemented their school’s position in the league of extraordinary educational institutions, with their commendable accomplishment. The Principal, Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan congratulated all the stakeholders on achieving such a significant result, even in the face of adversity being witnessed in the form of a pandemic, from the start of the examination. The school topper scored a whopping 99.2 % which has surpassed all academic records in the history of the Institution. The results at a glance proves the extraordinary and great achievement of the students and the teachers.

STREAM TOPPERS
In the Humanities Stream, Karishma Kalesh K bagged a whopping score of 99.2 % and topped the school result, Christine Noelle Fernandes who scored 99.0 % stood second and Navya Anil who scored 98.2% secured the third position.
In the Science Stream, Saurav Chhatani scored 97.8% and secured the first position. Safa Khan bagged the second position with a score of 97.6% and Gouri Sunil and Aiswarya Anoop shared the third position with a score of 97.2%.
In the Commerce Stream, Deeshita Soin stood first scoring 96.2 %. Close on her heels was Christy Kattungal Raju with a percentage of 95.6% in the second position followed closely by Afroza Ayub Khan with 95.4% in the third position.

CENTUM SCORERS
Another historic milestone as nineteen students took the lead by securing centum, 100 marks in various subjects. Seven students, Karishma Kalesh K, Aiswarya Anoop, Christine Noelle Fernandes, Navya Anil, Esther Naomi Dsilva, Arundhati Rajeev Erath and Sneeghdha Roy in Psychology, Four students, Karishma Kalesh K, Christine Noelle Fernandes, Clarissa Lucita Dias and Esther Naomi Dsilva in Marketing, three students, Arundhati Rajeev Erath, Yasmeen Zahra and Ananya Varma in Painting, Hiren Arvind Kachhadia and Saurav Chhatani in Engineering Graphics, Gouri Sunil in Chemistry, Saurav Chhatani in Mathematics and Karishma Kalesh K in Sociology brought home glory by scoring a perfect 100.

SUBJECT TOPPERS
The following students scored the highest in various subjects and bagged the topper’s position in their respective subjects. A score of 100% was secured by Gouri Sunil in Chemistry, Saurav Chhatani in Mathematics, Saurav Chhatani and Hiren Arvind Kachhadia in Engineering Graphics, Karishma Kalesh K, Christine Noelle Fernandes, Clarissa Lucita Dias and Esther Naomi D’Silva in Marketing, Arundhati Rajeev Erath, Yasmeen Zahra and Ananya Varma in Painting, Karishma Kalesh K in Sociology, Aishwarya Anoop, Karishma Kalesh K, Christine Noelle Fernandes and Navya Anil, Esther Naomi Dsilva, Arundhati Rajeev and Sneeghdha Roy in Psychology.

99% was scored by Saurav Chhatani, Safa Khan, Gouri Sunil, Aiswarya Anoop in Physics, Roylin Priya Pereira in Biology, Anshul Anil, Deeshita Soin and Nyasa Jasani in Accountancy, Karishma Kalesh K in Entrepreneurship, Aditya Sinha and Sai Vatsa Illa in English. Six students, Athul Salil, Swaleha Jasmine, Avaneesh Anil Panicker, Esha Jain, Nithila Cariappa and Aditya Sinha scored 97% in Computer Science, Inaya Idris in Business Administration, Anshul Anil and Deeshita Soin in Business Studies, Afroza Ayub Khan and Deeshita Soin in Economics. 96% was secured by Afroza Ayub Khan in Informatics Practices, Somya Shahlot, Fathimathu Noora Ziyad and Neha Musthafa in Information Technology. Khushi Arora secured 92% in Physical Education and 65% was secured by Vishwa Ganesh in Applied Mathematics.

Mr. Ajaykummar J., President on behalf of SMC congratulated and thanked all the students, teachers and parents for the outstanding results in class XII Board Examination. He also expressed his keenest appreciation for the Principal, Vice Principal, Senior Section, Assistant Vice Principal, Heads of various Departments and the entire Senior Section teachers for their commitment and unstinted endeavour in mentoring the students to achieve such prominence.
