Doha: The occasion highlights Qatar’s strides in economic growth, global influence, and sustainable development, guided by the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Qatar’s achievements span numerous sectors, including its leadership in liquefied natural gas production and a thriving foreign investment portfolio. The launch of the third National Development Strategy (2024–2030) this year reflects Qatar’s commitment to advancing education, healthcare, trade, and innovation, ensuring its place among developed nations by 2030.

Notable milestones include laying the foundation stone for the Ras Laffan Petrochemical Complex, a world-class health system with 19 hospitals and 35 health centers, and an education strategy titled “Igniting the Flame of Learning.” Qatar also launched a National Food Security Strategy and a digital transformation roadmap, emphasising sustainable growth.

The strong bonds between Qatar and Oman, fostered by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, serve as a model for regional cooperation. Shared economic, cultural, and investment efforts further reinforce their historic friendship.
