MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Water (Diam) has announced a three-month relief package for private sector companies and institutions.
In a statement issued by Diam on Monday said the relief measures will cover educational institutions, travel, tourism, banking, healthcare and media.
- The institution should be within the definition of small and medium enterprises affected by coronavirus crisis, such as having to reduce salaries and other conditions.
- The institution should specialise in one of the following sectors: health care, private education, travel, tourism, banking and media.
“These categories of subscribers should send the following documents: national fuel support card, business card, a copy of the water bill for individuals, a copy of a valid commercial registry, an affiliation certificate of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the water account number, via e-mail to covid19@diam.om, no later than 18 July 2020,” Diam said in a statement.
