UAE: The airline stated on its official website that customers transiting through Dubai with Baghdad as their final destination are also barred from boarding at their point of origin.
Flights to and from Beirut have been cancelled until December 31, 2024, with similar travel restrictions in place for transiting passengers headed to the Lebanese capital.
Passengers with confirmed bookings on Flydubai to Baghdad will be accommodated, though Emirates advised travelers to monitor Flydubai schedules for updates.

The cancellations come amid escalating conflict in the Middle East, which has seen airlines avoiding Iranian, Lebanese, and Iraqi airspace. This disruption follows the assassination of senior Hamas and Hezbollah figures and intensified strikes in Yemen and Gaza. The heightened tensions have forced carriers to repeatedly halt operations to the region since the outbreak of war in Gaza in October.
