MUSCAT: Nearly after three months, the Supreme Committee has allowed 48 new commercial activities to reopen in the country starting from Wednesday, June 10.
Muscat Municipality has warned commercial activities that they will have to strictly follow social distancing measures and health requirements. Customers entering the shops must maintain two meters distance, while adhering to the health measures.

Municipality stressed the need for businesses to adjust to new practices, especially physical distancing among their customers. “Any violation will be dealt with and strict action will be taken against businesses,” said a senior official at Muscat Municipality.
The Supreme Committee on Tuesday allowed reopening of more commercial activities including jewellery showrooms, clothing stores and furniture shops.
