COVID-19: Here’s the new list of commercial activities allowed to reopen in Oman

MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee on Tuesday has allowed to reopen more commercial activities, starting from Wednesday June 10, 2020. However, Muscat Municipality has confirmed that new list of commercial activities are not allowed to reopen inside shopping malls, Wilayat Muttrah and Al Wadi Al Kabir Industrial area. 

According to the Ministry customers are allowed to enter while maintaining a physical distance of no less than two meters. 

Following are the list of commercial activities issued by the permitted to reopen:

  1. Shoe stores 
  2. Jewelry, gold and silver showrooms
  3. Goldsmiths.
  4. Shoe repair and sewing shops 
  5. Herbal medicine shops.
  6.  Transaction tracking offices.
  7. Translation offices.
  8. Photocopying shops.
  9. Automotive glass sale and installation.
  10. Decoration shops
  11. Selling household utensils 
  12. Tailoring accessory shops. 
  13. Buying and selling scrap.
  14. Shops of selling and repairing motorcycles and bicycles 
  15. Digital printing shops 
  16. Calligraphers shops
  17. Paper plastic industry 
  18. Glass industry.
  19. Photography shops
  20. Shops selling security and safety devices.
  21. Repair of vehicle exhaust. 
  22. Cooking utensils industry shops. 
  23. Shops selling vehicles paints 
  24. Furniture stores.
  25. Billing service collection offices.
  26. Clothes and sports goods stores.
  27. Shops selling cosmetics.
  28. Shops selling Abayas.
  29. Ready-made cloth shops.
  30. Shops selling Omani Mussar. 
  31. Children’s clothing stores (baby shop). 
  32. Artificial turf shops.
  33. Perfumes and Bhukoor shops.
