MUSCAT: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health praised the expat community who played a major role in building modern Oman.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Al Saidi also said 75 percent of cases in Muscat Governorate are among expats due to the living conditions. “Cases are higher possibly because of the living situation and lack of information, despite the translation efforts of instructions, advice, and guidelines into their languages,” he said.
“Oman has been embracing residents from all over the world, and they have played a major role in building Oman’s modern renaissance; the Sultanate’s reputation regionally and internationally in dealing with residents is good and must be preserved,” he said.
