MUSCAT: Muscat reported 73 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, taking the total tally in the governorate to 1,958.
The new count comes after the Ministry of Health confirmed 98 new Covid-19 cases in the Sultanate. The total cases in the country has now touched 2,735 of which 858 have recovered.
Of the total 858 recoveries, 558 are from Muscat alone. South Al Batinah governorate recorded 276 total cases followed by North Al Batinah with 133 cases.
